Arriving at the airport and checking in:

PLEASE NOTE: Even if a passenger is aware of a published delay, they must still check in at the scheduled departure time not the newly published departure time. If you elect not to check in at the "scheduled departure" time it may cause cancellation of your seat and/or your entire reservation.

To accommodate all travelers on a flight, passengers must be checked in and available to board at the designated boarding gate at least 40 minutes (30 minutes on the east coast) before departure for all flights. Failure to meet these requirements may cause the cancellation of reserved seats and/or the entire reservation.
PenAir requires each customer appearing to be over 18 years of age, to present valid identification at the ticket counter or departure gate with a Customer Service Agent. Children under the age of 18 do not need photo ID while traveling domestically.
In order to expedite the security and check-in process, please ensure that the name on your travel documents matches the name on your travel itinerary and ticket.
Acceptable Identification for Domestic Travel
One of the following must apply to be considered acceptable ID
One non-expired government-issued photo ID, such as:
- Driver's license
- State ID card
- Military ID card
- Resident Alien card
- Photo employment ID issued by country, state or federal agency
